Raid 5 repair

    Hi


    I got some "Currently unreadable (pending) sectors" on one of my disks in raid 5. Is it as easy as replace the disk, and then repair the raid? Or is it in addition something else to think about?

    To replace the drive, this can all done from the GUI,


    Raid Management -> select the array, on the menu click remove, on the next screen drop down devices and select the drive to be removed, click save.


    Shutdown the server remove the drive from the above and install the new drive, restart the server, then;


    Storage -> Disks -> select the newly installed drive and click wipe on the menu, if the drive is new click quick, if the drive is repurposed click secure, this will prepare the drive for OMV to use, then;


    Raid Management -> click recover, on the next screen from the devices drop down select the new drive and click save, the array should rebuild, adding the new drive to the array.
