This new Radxa board is impressive. n100 with 8GB of ram, 2.5 GBe, m.2 slot all in RPi form factor for $80. Even supposed to be a 16GB model coming.
Yes, it seems interesting, finally a small board with an x86 processor. Good news.
We will have to wait to see what designs there are to cool that CPU passively. It looks very attractive for building a basic PC. To build a server you would have to figure out how to install a pcie to sata adapter in that little port and have a decent chip. You would also have to think about how to power multiple hard drives.
This opens up a lot of possibilities, I like it.
