[SOLVED] Upgrade 6->7 Can't login

  • I tried the omv-release-upgrade path from 6 to 7. After a long two hour plus slog in the shell it appeared to complete without any obvious errors, but I didn't sit there and watch the whole thing scroll by.

    After a reboot, I tried to login to the Web GUI but it throws a 502 - Bad Gateway error in a red box at the bottom of the screen.

    All my dockers are running, shares work, and i can ssh in. Just no GUI.

    Any ideas as to where to start debugging this?

    Thanks

    A backup strategy is worthless unless you have a verified to work by testing restore strategy.

  • sudo omv-salt deploy run nginx phpfpm

    sudo systemctl restart nginx

    sudo systemctl restart php8.2-fpm

    dpkg -l | grep openme

    First command solved it but I ran them all anyway. Thanks!
