No able to access shared folder outside my local network to a specific IP

I've successfully created a shared folder and set up a VPN. Currently, the shared folder is accessible on my internal network and VPN. However, I want to access this shared folder from a different server with a distinct public IP address. I'm considering two options:

2. Mapping it to a domain via nginx (Is this feasible?).

Which approach would be more suitable? If there are any alternative suggestions, please share them as well.

Use Nextcloud for that.

No. Nextcloud and other applications like Nextcloud were developed precisely for that purpose.

If the only purpose is for one server to access a shared folder on another server in a different location I would create a Wireguard point-to-point tunnel for that. https://wiki.omv-extras.org/do…oint_tunnel_configuration

It all depends on what exactly you want to achieve. What is the specific purpose of your case?

In that case I think a point-to-point connection with Wireguard is the best approach.
