User who only has access to the dashboard

  • Hi,

I would like to know if it is possible to create a user who only has access to dashboard information and nothing else?
The idea is to delete my Netdata container which is too resource intensive and which gives me too much useless information, especially since the information from the OMV dashboard is enough for me.
However, for security reasons, I do not want to do this by logging in with my admin account.

    THANKS !

Until OMV7 it was not possible. But I seem to remember that some changes have been made to this lately, search the forum, maybe you'll find a related thread.

  • I searched, but couldn't really find any information.
If that's not possible, it's a shame to have to create a container for an OMV integrated service that already exists.
Especially since I am certain that it is possible to update OMV so that a user without admin rights can see all the information on the dashboard.

It has been possible for a long time BUT the plugins or OMV would have to add content for it. It wouldn't be hard to add dashboard widgets for users but just not a lot of people asking for them.
