Troubles Creating and Mounting a File System

  • Hello! I am very new to using OpenMediaVault, and I'm having some troubles setting up my filesystem. I've got OMV set up on a pi, and I have a 2TB external hard drive (formerly used as an xbox external hd) and I keep getting the same error when trying to create my file system. I'm using the GUI, Storage -> File Systems -> Create and Mount a Hard Drive -> [EXT4, selecting my drive). When I hit save, a window pops up with the following:

Creating new GPT entries in memory.

    Disk /dev/sda: 3809353967 sectors, 1.8 TiB

Model: Expansion Sector size (logical/physical): 512/512 bytes

    Disk identifier (GUID): 041532C8-C25A-4886-A27E-6334270F88D5

Partition table holds up to 128 entries

Main partition table begins at sector 2 and ends at sector 33

First usable sector is 34, last usable sector is 3809353933

Partitions will be aligned on 2048-sector boundaries

Total free space is 2014 sectors (1007.0 KiB)

Number Start (sector) End (sector) Size Code Name 1 2048 3809353933 1.8 TiB 8300 The operation has completed successfully.

sh: 1: partprobe: Exec format error

    END OF LINE

Obviously, it doesn't get through the whole operation. I've already wiped the hard drive using this command: "sudo shred -f -v -n0 -z /dev/mmcblk0". I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Any suggestions? :)
