And maybe its important to stop the SMB Service, then change the config and save and after that, start the service!

As they always say here, I believe these settings should be done within Open Media Vault under

Services--> SMB/CIFS --> Settings

and not to edit the config files in Debian themselves. Let OMV do it.

Either way something to try.

I didn't do anything else.

Nevertheless, stop the service and after the change start it again ( with the OMV gui )
