Remove missing file system and change/remove shared folder

  • I've removed a HDD, which became corrupted. But I can't seem to delete the file system...?

I found this thread, but it's undoubtedly outdated: Missing file system

I assume there's something in the CLI that can be done?

There are of course shared folders associated with this missing file system. Can I simply "redirect" existing folders to a new SSD I bought? Or do I need to delete these shared folders? (Although I also don't immediately see how that's possible.)

Changed the title of the thread from “Remove missing file system” to “Remove missing file system and change/remove shared folder”.

Edit the shared folders to point to a different drive. Once the missing filesystem has no more references, you might be able to delete it in the Filesystems tab. If not, you should be able to delete it in the mounteditor plugin.

    That raised an error message:

But maybe it worked anyway... I'll test.

  • I 'transferred' another drive to test a rsync job (with less data, so the test would be quicker). A quick glance at ls gives me the impression that all the files were synced, but the rsync job did raise errors (I accidently refreshed after the initial sync, instead of copying the error; this is the log of the second go, which is why no files seem to be copied):

So I assume this isn't the right way to go about it...?

What is the filesystem that you are trying to change to?
