Hi
I have a strange problem on my new OMV7 installation:
I can't access my SMB shares from different Windows PCs (10 and also Server 2016) with user credentials. Tried everything with permissions and/or ACLs, SMB 2 or 3, no chance. Works only if I made a share guest accessable and unix permissions for others. My LibreElec Pi has no problems. A Windows problem? But why had it been working with OMV 6 before?
I found this thread: Windows 10 and OMV 7 SMB Problems
But the option ntlm auth = yes does not help.
Looking in the log:
Quote[2024/07/10 12:25:53.388488, 1] ../../source3/smbd/smb2_service.c:355(create_connection_session_info)
create_connection_session_info: guest user (from session setup) not permitted to access this share (misc)

create_connection_session_info failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED
I did not try to connect with a guest user! Windows asked me for a username and password.
I don't wan't to make my shares guest accessable. How can I solve that?
