Problems with Proxmox Kernel after update to OpenMediaVault 7

  • Hello, I have updated from OMV6 to OMV7 and run into some problems with installing proxmox kernels. First time I have succeeded somehow (managed to uninstall the kernel, and somehow it got through, but today it happened again when I tried to install new pve kernels. This is the error that I see:

    any ideas? Thanks!

    Later edit:

    - rebooting after this error and trying to boot one of the new installed kernels has a result a hard freeze after grub screen at "Loading Linux 6.8.8-4-pve ...@".

    - somehow the updated removed the old installed 6.8.8-3 kernel which was working for me and now my only boot option is the 6.8.8-4...

    - booting now on debian kernel and I will try to install the proxmox kernel anew....

    - I cannot install anything as the config for these kernel updates did not went through and is called every time when I try to install or uninstall something...

    LE2:

    - I have managed to remove the pve kernels and to uninstall zfs plugin. Without the plugin active the kernels installed ok. I will reinstall now the plugin... it seems to work...

  • This think happened again when I have installed the 6.8.12-1-pve. Now I run with the previous 6.5.13-6-pve, but I would like to dig a bit more to understand why is this happening.

Can somebody point me in the right direction where I can look before applying the workaround from the first post?

    Thank you!
