WebUI not working

  • Hello,
My web ui stopped working after I tried manually running smart test for system disk. Web browser hang up, refreshed and showed just blank page.
I have tried restarted nginx and php but that didnt helped. After a while I rebooted NAS and now there is only blue page with logo, but login window is not showing up. Everything else appears to be running normally

I cannot find anything relevant in logs anywhere except access log and there are no JS errors on browser side. Any idea what could have caused this?

  • Erasing packages didnt do anything.

  • Try this:

    empty your browser cache then

    monit restart omv-engined
    service nginx restart

then refresh your browser and see if the same. Your SSD is over 2 years old? Has it been used a lot?

  • I'm getting off so here is another thing to check. I don't know how you got onto OVM 1 so check if apache is running:

    service apache2 status

    if it is do this:

    update-rc.d -f apache2 remove
