Can not make any change after replace a disk in the system

  • My omv has been running for 4 years now. Last week one of the disks died. The disks are not in a raid. After I replaced the disk my omv is a bit out of order. Normally you have to adjust the configuration when making an adjustment. However, this is not possible, the error message below appears.

    Based on the logs:syslog (1).txt

I have already made a number of adjustments, including

restarting services and hotfix, but unfortunately this does not help :(

The solutions suggested were of no use, I notice that my knowledge is a bit lacking to solve this

Is the filesystem marked as referenced in the GUI of OMV?

If yes, you need to remove the filesystem from any service it is used with. You also need to remove all shared folders pointing at that filesystem.

I tried, but the option to remove is ' grayed out'

The option to remove the filesystem? If yes ...

You show a screenshot of shared folders. The shared folder "DJ" is marked as referenced. That means, it is used by a service (e.g. smb, nfs or so). You need to remove the shared folder "DJ" from any service where it is used.

Saying this, I assume that the shared folder "DJ" is located on the disk you would like to remove.

Are there other shared folders pointing at that filesystem?

Is SMART enabled for the filesystem?

We need to achieve that the filesystem is marked as referenced any more. Then we should be able to remove it.

Do you have the resetperms plugin installed?
