SMB folder remote access Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W

hello,i've installed and configured openmediavault on raspberry pi zero 2 w and created an SMB folder for windows.

Everything went ok,i manage to watch Plex and i mostly use VLC media player to watch and listen to the files i have on the SMB.

The problem i have is that i can only use them while at home.

Is there anyway to acccess it outside my home like from mobile phone using data celular and other wifi networks?

I tried no-ip.com for ddns but that is where things got complicated.

Any help?

Thank you for your help,however i had to use PIVpn so i configure it with WireGuard,everything went perfect,the problem is my IP is dynamic and i will need to figure out how to make it static but until then,thank you very much for your help
