NUT Monitor can't start

  • Hi there,

Got an interesting issue that's sprung up. NUT monitor now refuses to start and produces this error when I attempt to start it via the command line: with sudo upsmon -F:

    Code
fopen /run/nut/upsmon.pid: No such file or directory
Could not find PID file to see if previous upsmon instance is already running!

Unable to use old-style MONITOR line without a username
Convert it and add a username to upsd.users - see the documentation
    Fatal error: unusable configuration

I've changed nothing except the email notifications go to from the monitoring service in this case, and I upgraded the underlying Debian 12 to version 12.8 yesterday. These issues cropped up just now.

My UPS isn't contactable across the network now which is a bit of an issue :(

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
