Installation & configuration of OMV was fine. Login using "admin + password" also fine.
In Windows 11 the network device NAS is visible. Double click on it opens the login window.
I type in the correct PW >> receiving an error message.
Any Idea?

have you read this? https://wiki.omv-extras.org/doku.php?id=omv7:new_user_guide
yes
Got it >> works fine .... thanks!
Next problem: There are tow drives connected to the Raspberry. Both are formated using Windows (NTFS). Whenever I try copying datat from one drive to the other .... it starts for a while then send an error message.
Is it possible OMV (on Raspberry) is not able to deal with NTFS formated drives?
NTFS is not the best idea to be used on a linux system - I'm not an expert on this but I would use NTFS on windows systems only.
Its like APFS on Apple.
You should use EXT4 (or better) - I'm using it w my disks/ssds connected to my RPi since years w/o any issues.
Now I made it simple: Only one drive connecte. This one was formated using RaspOS to EXT4 >>> did not work.
Next tray: Flashed the partition on that drive an reformated it using OMV
The drive can be seen in OMV (see OMV1)
When I try to setup a the data system and click on accept configuration an error message pops up for a while (OMV2)
When the msg disapear >> no data sytem!
Now both drives are formated in NTFS. Can files store, copy and transfer between the drive ... fine.
However when I start a mass transfer (all my pics from sda to sdb (backup)) it stops after a while with an error msg. Target files & whole drive are corruped.
>>> I give up !!!
My appraisment: OMV is an highliy unrelaiable system. Very disapointing!

You will certainly write the same statement in any other NAS forum. You are one of those people who are not willing to read manuals or use the Internet if you have problems. This is or They are disappointing!
