Hi, as the title says I just bought a new disc, I want to format with btrfs, but can I find the way from the gui to set the label, I find this usefull to identify the disc in the future. Just to clarify, I have already formatted and mounted the drive and the system never asks me for the label.
Set the label of a disk when i create a partition

If it's mounted at the CLI use:
btrfs filesystem label <mountpoint> <newlabel>
e.g:
btrfs filesystem label /srv/dev-disk-by-uuid-0371eae9-24da-4de7-87d6-32cfd5f9f96b my-raid1
Check details in WEBUI

So there is no way to do this in the webgui?

AFAIK, no. Put in a feature request.

First of all, thanks, it works.
I was not clomplaining but since I have several discs that I bought after using OMV and all have labels I was confused.

I didn't think you were complaining. But there's a difference between a software label of a filesystem and the actual labels on your HDDs. Do yourself a favour and note down the serials numbers of your hard drives so if you have a faulty drive you can easily id it on your system.

Sorry for the confucion, I do have a list, with all disk, model size, serial number, partitions label, folders that i create and what are use for.
I may have expressed myself incorrectly. Since I only use one partition per disk, I assume they are the same. I understand that they are not.
But since all my partitions are labeled, my confusion about whether or not this option existed before is still there, maybe only for ext4?
Thank you very much

You've done the right thing, many OMV users simply don't realise the importance of noting this info. There's a column for "label" in the filesystem list and adding a "tag" to a fs is another useful aid.

Since you mention it. What do you use the tags for? for what I see are system-wide, the few I use are used for folder descriptions. Do they have any use other than informative?
