You must have upgraded from OMV 6 to 7? If so, run the fix6to7upgrade script. Search for it on the forum.

  • Did that and rebooted. This is now the error when applying pending chages

I don't think I have ever seen that many changes. It is complaining about a wifi setup it looks like. I would not setup wifi until everything else is up to date and configured.

  • Does not even have wifi afaik. Has always been connected through ethernet

Everything seems to be working so I guess I will have to just ignore this for now.

This system has been going for years now so maybe I should budget some time for a clean install anyway...

I wouldn't do that. You have installed a lot of updates and/or made changes. None of them are written to the system.

So , you don't have a wlx984827d188c7 network interface configured?

    Could wlx984827d188c7 be referencing that?

Yes. And the config for it is still in the database. You must have unplugged it without removing the config in the Network -> Interfaces tab.

  • There we go, deleted it in the network interfaces tab and everything worked as it should

Thanks for all the help. It is much appreciated.

I think this install has been upgraded from maybe OMV4, and from a time when I didn't even know what SSH was, so I'm sure there are many bodies like this buried in the files system...

    Thanks again!

My primary server has as well. Glad it fixed the issue.
