Adding new SSD

Hello,

I am trying to add a new SSD.
It's JMicron 4TB

I connected it to USB 3 on my Pi.

I see that SMART is trying to refresh.
I do see it as a new disk via storage/disk

The problem is that after two tries, my old disk disappeared.

And I see arert:

Service: filesystem_srv_dev-disk-by-label-MAIN
Event: Filesystem flags changed
Description: filesystem flags changed to ro,relatime,jqfmt=vfsv0,usrjquota=aquota.user,grpjquota=aquota.group

So I am hesitant to wipe a new disk and add FS as I am concerned it may mess up my current setup.

Any comments, or suggestions?

Both disks were connected to blue USB 3 ports

After moving a new disk to a new port (black) problems seem to be gone

It must be an SCSI conflict but odd and unpleasant.
