Are you sure you're using latest omvextras?
-
build-essentials is installed with the zfs plugin and the proper kernel headers are installed when you enable the zfs repo in omv-extras.
-
-
Im using openmediavault-omvextrasorg 1.0.27
is this latest version?
I have to enable OMV-Extras.org testing repository??
-
Just in case the install didn't go through do it manually
apt-get install linux-headers-$(uname -r) build-essential -
-
-
Give me the the output of dpkg -l | grep zfs
-
Just enable the zfs repo. Post the output of subzero's commands.
-
-
-
The module is actually built by the spl-dkms package. What I've seen before is that the package gets installed when installing the debian-zfs package, even though it fails to build the required module. What you could try is to purge the spl-dkms package, and then re-install it.
-
Looks fine to me. Last time it was fix by headers install.
Try apt-get --reinstall install linux-headers-$(uname -r) watch the output for zfs module building

There should be a ZFS option under storage in the left-hand menu. If you click it and it lists your pools, then it works. -
I think iscsi with the backports kernel was causing your issues.

Could you try to re-install the plugin package?

can't install along with the iscsi-target plug?
Could you try to re-install the plugin package?
u mean zfs plug?or isci? or both(zfs and iscsi)? -
iscsi kernel build module is not working properly. Just test it the other day in 3.16 and couldn't make it work.
You'll need to work it out and remove iscsi -
-
I remove isci-target plug, and reinstall zfs plug
but no option...Could you try to re-install the plugin package?
-
Try apt-get purge iscsitarget iscsitarget-dkms openmediavault-iscsitarget then again reinstall the kernel headers like before. Hopefully the build will go fine this time.
