This is the situation: I have a shared folder regularly shared and accessed by Kodi by NFS (and SMB) on my firestick. I can normally delete files and folders inside this shared folder. When I add a new folder from my windows pc (that uses SMB on the same shared folder, accessed with user and pass) and then try to delete new files in the new folder or the new folder itself from kodi, it doesn't do anything. I cannot delete this new folder even if I access using SMB with the same user and password used on my windows pc.
If I use Reset Permissions on the root shared folder, I can then delete the new created files and folders from kodi (using NFS and SMB).
If I create a new folder after using Reset Permissions, I again cannot delete them from kodi.
I used to normally delete new subfolders from kodi before some OMV update (but I cannot identify which version let me do what I wanted from kodi).
I even deleted and then recreated the shared folder but no luck.
It seems to me that new subfolders do not inherit permissions of the root shared folder (it has Read/Write/Execute for all - Owner/User/Others).
Any help on having the new folders manipulated (delete or rename) from kodi using NFS?
