Can't apply saving Compose setting(network problem-can't get the key)

  • You have to have a url to point at first. This is showing how to set repos for the omv repos. I don't know of any docker mirrors.

    Oh, I got your point.

You want me to change the source/mirror sites to using the script.

I misunderstood because you show the script with L61 at the last of the url. I thought it was different.

    Really appreciate your help.

I'll try to change the proxy to global mode to have a try.

Some source/mirror sites in China are always outdated and I'll move to New Zealand next month. I would rather not use docker for a month than make the system mess.

May I ask one more question please?

Why can't I change the KEY by using the command?

    It said:

    Code
    Executing: /tmp/apt-key-gpghome.EvqlruXm3h/gpg.1.sh --recv-keys --keyserver keyserver.debian.com 7EA0A9C3F273FCD8
gpg: key 8D81803C0EBFCD88: "Docker Release (CE deb) docker@docker.com" not changed
    gpg: Total number processed: 1
    gpg: unchanged: 1

That is adding the key to /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d (old way) and the repo is explicitly telling apt to look for the key in a different file. You could remove the signed-by part of the repo but omv-extras will keep adding it back.

  • omv-aptclean repos is doing just that. https://github.com/OpenMediaVa…sr/sbin/omv-aptclean#L100

If you start adding other docker.list files, it makes things more confusing because the error might be coming from different list files. Can you post all of the output of sudo omv-aptclean repos

Sorry for bothering you again, ryecoaaron.

I finally solved the publick key problem without changing the source/mirror sites.

I just wondering: I made it successful with sudo omv-aptclean repos.

I was login by "root", so if I'm using omv-aptclean repos it should be the same results.

But omv-aptclean repos failed, and sudo omv-aptclean repos successed.

So, I wanna ask why would this happened?

Can you help to explain it for me please?

    Thank you!

that doesn't make any sense. I can see something failing with sudo before failing as root. How did you login as root? Did you use sudo su? If you did, that is wrong and I can see the command failing because it would not be using root's profile. sudo su - is what you should use but it is easier to use sudo omv-aptclean repos

I just login by using windows terminal ssh root@<ipadress>.

I thought that is root user.

I thought that is root user.

It is. I would would say it is timing issue or something failing on your system then. It is pretty much impossible for sudo to work and root not to.

I reinstall the OMV today (Chinese Time UTC8+). And found this weird thing. Yesterday I used sudo and root were all failure as you known.

I really don't understand why, so I tried to ask you for more details.

Maybe just a weird timing issue occurred.

Sorry for taking you so much time.

Now the public key problem has gone, I can move on to set docker compose.
