Access a images folder from internet

Hello,

I have Omv setup on my Fujitsu server and have even successfully setup Plex using docker/compose on a separate SSD(usb into the back of the server) just for fun.

I used the server to store my photography raw files and access them via windows 11(desktop pc, shared folder(?)). I would like to be able to access the folder from the internet, not just my house.

A. is this a safe proposal for a total beginner

B. Is it a technical disaster waiting to happen.

C. Are there any tutorials for absolute beginners please ?

Many thanks and don't hesitate to ask further for anything you need to know re my setup etc.

several good dockers to do it ( and a pluging): I use this, but as I say lot of options to choose.

Yes I did that.

In the endpoint I put my public IP (which is static as I have a business account)...do I also insert the IP of the server...and if so, how do I do that in the endpoint box ?
