I set up a server with OMV as NAS and for backups. Now I´m trying to copy data from a folder in OMV to my windows PC using integrated OMV rsync services. So, I created a task:
The screenshot above is only an example. I tried several different syntax in the destiantion but the task never work.
What do I have to do in Windows and what is the right syntax in OMV.? The destination folder is free (Write/read) for everbody at the moment.

To configure a remote rsync task you need a remote share. You just have to configure it correctly in Windows for OMV to see it. But that's the complicated thing, Windows is pretty special for these things. I advise you to use robocopy from Windows to do this, you will finish sooner.
I use FreeFilesync for simmilar use.
I just drag and drop. mount omv drive on winders, dragggg n drop. 350-400MB/s
I tried robocopy with several attributes (/mir etc) but some files are blocked by OMV and I get a error message (something like access denied). Or do you have a hint what the correct might look like?
I suppose there is a permissions problem, check your configuration. Sorry, I stopped using robocopy years ago, I don't remember the options. But there are surely tutorials online for using robocopy.
