Hello, I’m looking to put two openmediavault machines in high availability. What are the possible solutions you would suggest? For my part, I found this one that seems a little old, what do you think?Mise-en-place-dune-solution-de-stockage-haute-disponibilite-linuxCOMP.pdf
High availability

What services do you need in HA?

To set up high availability for two OpenMediaVault machines, you can consider using DRBD (Distributed Replicated Block Device) to replicate data between the two servers in real time. This software works well with OpenMediaVault and ensures data consistency.

I would never use the DRBD in a OSS product since they pulled a stunt with the license few years ago.

Divenountly This is exactly what this tutorial offers, so it seems to be suitable. ness1602 What software would you use instead of DRBD ? In any case thank you for your answers.

TBH if you need 2 machines only(not 3 as recommended by every HA) i would use something like two independent machines with pve-zsync between them. This is not real HA,but storage replication.
