DomoticZ on OMV with Docker: how to install DomoticZ plugin?

I installed OMV 7 on my X86 64 PC, Docker/Compose and DomoticZ under Docker. All is working well.

I am not completely comfortable with Debian, and even less with Docker and I wonder if it would not be easier from a system administration point of view, to install DomoticZ alongside OMV, that is to say as a program?

And precisely, how should I install DomoticZ plugins in the intended DomoticZ directories? In Debian terminal mode or is it possible under Docker?

In Debian terminal mode, I imagine that OMV is a service launched when the PC starts. Is there a solution to start in Debian mode and copy this plugin into the DomoticZ directories with terminal window? The next reboot will be done with OMV.

Ok. I understand. Thank you for your answer.

So I installed DomoticZ with Docker compose and it works.

DomoticZ is a domotic server as Home assistant, ...

Now I want to install a plugin in the DomoticZ directories to have communication with a new device.

This is described in the DomoticZ plugin procedure.

When I installed Docker, it created at least 3 directories:

In Compose file: DockerAppData on /dev/sda1

in Data, DockerData on /dev/sda1

in Docker, /var/lib/docker

In DockerAppData, I created a DomoticZ/plugins/DomoticzLinky directory in which I copied plugin.py.

This structure is described in the DomoticZLinky files.

Plugin.py is a python code to provide an access in DomoticZ server, to a Linky device (electrical power meter).

But It doesn't work. I have no Linky device available in DomoticZ.

Python3 is OK.

The plugin is in the correct directory?
