Hello people, I'm about to buy a Synology DS223J NAS.
I have a couple of questions - need help since I'm a newbie.
Can OVM be installed on that NAS?
Does OVM have a GUI - Web interface?
I will use my NAS for eMule, Torrent, streaming media on my Android TV's

Very difficult. That NAS has an arm processor and no video output. Unless someone has built an OMV or Debian image that can be flashed on this specific NAS model you will not be able to install OMV.
If you want to use OMV on a commercial NAS, you better look at QNAPs with x86 architecture and video output. Some Terramasters can also work. In any case, I advise you to use a conventional PC, it will be less limited and everything will be much simpler. This thread may be useful. Why I chose an N100 over a Raspberry PI5

I own that model and asked the same a year or so ago. Chente's answer is best. My follow-on is to say I really gave it a go and got myself into a situation where the thing bricked. Thankfully I was able to get it back to Synology but it wasn't easy. Also keep in mind that it only has 1 gig of ram so it's best to just leave is using DSM and setup SMB shares (which I have no problem accessing from either X86 (windows) or RPI (debian).
