[SOLVED] Raid 5 filesystem missing

  • So i build a youyeetoo with openmediavault

    4 disk in there

the raid was fully functioning and i copied all my diving movies on there ready for backup

suddenly i get write protection, and now i get that the share is no longer able to be opened

and if i go in the web i see the file system is missing

any help in how to recover?

here are some screenshots that might help

    the disks i use

    the file system

the multiple file system this was configred but gone, and it's impossible to select drives here

  • also perhaps good to know md0 seems to be inactive

    /dev/md0:

    Version : 1.2

    Raid Level : raid5

    Total Devices : 4

    Persistence : Superblock is persistent

    State : inactive

    Working Devices : 4

    Name : youyeetoo01:0 (local to host youyeetoo01)

    UUID : e0fa45e9:bd57d5f9:dc915596:e02988d9

    Events : 5801

    Number Major Minor RaidDevice

    - 259 3 - /dev/nvme2n1

    - 259 2 - /dev/nvme1n1

    - 259 0 - /dev/nvme0n1

    - 259 1 - /dev/nvme3n1

  • so i got them active and mounted again via ssh

    in short

    sudo mdadm --stop /dev/md0

$ sudo mdadm --assemble --force --verbose /dev/md0

    sudo cat /proc/mdstat

    to check if active

    sudo cat /etc/fstab

then the raid and filesystem are active

    however the shares aren't accesable

what i can see is my file system is mounted

however my shared folders don't link up

creating a new file system also doesn't work

    any ideas?

  • well, seems I'm doing a conversation with myself, but at least someone else can perhaps use this

the raid, filesystem and shares are all up and running

the missing solution where these commands

    sudo omv-salt stage run prepare

    sudo omv-salt stage run deploy
