How to reuse USB after install?

So I mounted the iso to a usb for installation. Now when I plug that USB back into my windows PC it says there a other with it and it won't show up anywhere.

I even tried diskpart and it won't list it. What do I do?

Uh, just format it? Windows should be able to format it

It doesn't show up though. Windows says it malfunctioned when I plug it in and it doesn't show up in diskpart under list disk or in the windows partition utility.

It installed the OS just fine then I pulled it out and went to use it on my PC after. It's a newer, hardly used SanDisk 32GB drive

Ah I see. Sorry not a Windows user.

I remember in the past when I inserted a disk that windows didn't recognize, it just gave me the option to format it.

Plug it to your omv, wipe it and create a filesystem
