Promox Kernel not updating

Went to system - kernel picked

Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 6.11.11-2-pve but after reboot The GUI says I got the kernel but definitely not

uname -r

6.8.12-9-pve

Fix it i found the issue it was REfind witch stays on the previous pick so at boot in REfind press escape and picked the right kernel and now

uname -r

6.11.11-2-pve

Update

Well, when it reboot it reverse to the old kernel, the way to have it stick, for people using REfind is to do what is mentioned in this https://www.reddit.com/r/archl…default_kernel_on_refind/

and for my case

~# sudo touch /boot/vmlinuz-6.11.11-2-pve
~# sudo touch /boot/initrd.img-6.11.11-2-pve

and then it is working perfect.
