I've now upgrade OMV from 6 to 7.
Post the outputs inside CODE boxes (this is a How to do it) of:
dpkg-l | grep openm
If the versions are correct on v7, run:
wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/installScript/raw/master/fix6to7upgrade | sudo bash
Clear the browser cache and be done with it.

helpful ? :
, run:
I haven't seen this command yet...
Can I run it?But first: Does the new version also have a button to migrate data from Portainer to Compose like in version 6?

dpkg-l | grep openm
Had a typo.
It's
dpkg -l | grep openm
haven't seen this command yet...
Can I run it?What do you think???
Why would I give you if not to run it?
Does the new version also have a button to migrate data from Portainer to Compose like in version 6?
There never was a button to migrate data from portainer.
There's ways to move from one to the other.
It will be the same as OMV 6

I thought you needed the output of the first command first for your "go".
There never was a button to migrate data from portainer.
Is this post perhaps outdated?
In the Video I saw the Button "[Create from example]"
Just search the forum
I am already doing this diligently and want to learn

and last but not least the result of 'fix6to7upgrade' :
Code
Display More. . . Summary for debian ------------- Succeeded: 36 (changed=20) Failed: 0 ------------- Total states run: 36 Total run time: 1.387 s Done. root@omv:/#... and all the Plugins in the GUI now have 7.xxx !!
Thx a lot , Soma !

It's not outdated.
If you did those steps on OMV6, you don't need to do it again just because you upgraded OMV version.

hi thanks for this solution about issue between OMV7 (updated from OMV6) and OMV-extras 7, which is displayed to OMV-extras 6 in plugin section.
i think about dkpg command, there is a space needed between "g" and "l"
dpkg-l | grep openm
dpkg -l | grep openm
=> If the versions are correct on v7, run:
wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/installScript/raw/master/fix6to7upgrade | sudo bash
this fixes my issue. THANKS a lot
