I have a problem with OMV 7 and Mac. Go to the shared file, sharing is slow from subfolder 4/5, this problem is present in previous versions of OMV (4).
Sometimes the slowness is also in the first folders
Tests done and info:
-ovm is a VM on Proxmox 7
-upgrade from version 4 to 7
-dedicated network card
-tested different versions of SMB (now smb minimum 2)
-extra options:
socket options = TCP_NODELAY SO_RCVBUF=65536 SO_SNDBUF=65536
read raw = yes
write raw = yes
max xmit = 65535
dead time = 15
getwd cache = yes
