Re-attach disk after accidental unplug

Hello,

I run 7.4.6-1 (Sandworm) on a RaspberryPi with an attached HDD. I accidentally unplugged it. After re-attaching, it seems I have to format the disk again in order to mount it again. When clicking on "Mount an existing file system" in File Systems menu, I dont see the disk in the drop-down.

Is there any way to avoid formatting it? Would be rather cumbersome to save its content, then format, mount and re-write everthing to it.
