License Compliance Email from Sencha

  • Hello.

I am using omv version 6 in a company and created a public domain so that omv can be configured from the internet. Suddenly I received an email from sencha if I use their paid framework.

Does using omv violate Sencha's license?

What should I respond to the email from Sencha?

Thank you for your support and attention.

  • Hello.

Thank you very much for responding to me.

I apologize in advance, apparently I'm still using OMV version 5..

So what Sencha is arguing about is the GPL license, and I am considered to be distributing Sencha Ext JS in the omv application via the internet, even though it is only for my own use to remote.

They have sent their lawyers and will send a bill for a sum of money because of this problem.

Is it really a violation of the GPL license rules if I use omv which uses Sencha Ext JS and can be accessed via the internet?

    Thank you for your support.

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about it.
