I also ordered a Beelink ME Mini, but the Chinese version with an N200 processor.
I learned about potential drive disconnect issues after ordering.
I plan to use six Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2 TB drives in RAID-10 and install Openmediavault on them, along with my data.
I plan to place the EFI bootloader and the /boot folder on the built-in eMMC drive, and also clone it to an external USB flash drive, just in case, and disconnect it as a backup in case the eMMC fails.
I'm a little concerned about the risk of drive failure, but I hope the Samsung 990 EVO Plus's peak power consumption of 4.6 W won't overload the Beelink ME Mini's power supply.
I plan to remove the Wi-Fi card immediately to free up some power.
In any case, I have backups, and if the Beelink ME Mini fails, I'll wait for the Beelink ME Pro and Beelink ME MAX, which are already being rumored. What result do you think I will achieve with my configuration?
