How works OMV Upgrades ?

  • Sorry for this stupid question, but I don't understand how OMV updates are handled.


    For example, my main NAS is currently running version 7.0.5-1 (Sandworm).


    I perform all updates every week.


    Yet I installed a new OMV alongside it, and I noticed that this OMV fresh install is running version 7.7.17-1 (Sandworm)!!


    Why didn't my first OMV NAS, running 7.0.5, follow this update thread until it reached 7.7.17?

    If you add LANG=C in front of the command, the output will be in English.


    Please post the output of sudo omv-aptclean repos

    I can't seem to get any updates from the "Dashboard" lately.

    Publish the output of:

    omv-aptclean repos

    omv-upgrade
