A 1TB OS drive is way, way overkill. You can do it on a 16GB SSD or Flash drive.
You didn't mention the motherboard.

A 16GB SSD for the OS can be had on eBay for around $10. A 32GB SSD can be the same or a bit more money.

That is so true in many cases. I use "timeshift", I do not think I will have this issue, correct?
