My machine running OMV has two network port but I'm only using one at present. What might be some good ways to apply it? For instance would it be much work for me to give it over to one of my docker containers exclusively and will that improve performance? I have an auxiliary drive enclosure getting bottlenecked by the slower Nas so I wonder if I could reserve that second port for my fast enclosure and will that improve access time?
And that reminds me of another issue, if I can't solve it with network, how badly will OMV fuss if I take the enclosure off from time to time and hook it directly into one of my computers?
