Hello, I just installed OMV 8 on a Raspberry Pi CM5 with Suptronics NAS board and Raspberry Pi OS Lite. This board has one 1gb port and one 2.5gb port. Everything is working fine but my issue is that omv-firstaid does not list the 2.5gb port. I am currently connected using this 2.5gb port and it is functional but I cannot find a way to set a static IP. In the web GUI I see both interfaces but both are blank. Both nmcli and nmtui are not installed. Any ideas? Thanks!
2.5gb interface not detected

Approved the thread. -
Please post the complete diagnostic report that you can get in the UI. It hopefully contains all information to identify the problem. But i assume it is a weird interface naming that is currently not implemented.

Same issue here. After installing OMV8 on Raspberry Pi 5 (Trixie) the USB network adapters are not properly visible in the OMV UI.
I noticed that:
a) before OMV8 installation the adapters are detected as eth1, eth2 and after OMV8 install, they are detected as enu1u3, enu1u4 (running ip a)
b) OMV8 UI does sometimes list the adapters enu1u3, enu1u4 but they are identified as Bonds, not Ethernet.
c) After deleting the adapters enu1u3, enu1u4 in the UI (without accepting changes), they are no longer visible in as availble on the Bridge screen.
d) After restart, the adapters enu1u3, enu1u4 are no longer visible even using omv-firstaid, the only way to get them back to re-run the omv install script
Up until now, I ran OMV7 on a Raspberry Pi 5. I use the Pi as a 2.5Gbps network switch using two USB 2.5G network adapters and bridging them with the built in one. Unbelieveably all works fine and I get 260MB transfer speeds.
Attaching the diagnostic report.

Just upgraded to OMV 8 and getting the same issue with 2.5gbe nic (Realtek 8156B) not being correctly displayed in the OMV Web UI. Network Interfaces on OMV Web UI lists the 2.5gbe nic as eth0 (as this is how it was identified in OMV 7), but the attached diagnostics report lists the device as enu1. As per OP, omv-firstaid does not show the 2.5gbe nic at all.
Also, I just want to take a moment to congratulate Volker on a very smooth and trouble free upgrade process.

Fixed in openmediavault 8.0.6, see https://github.com/openmediavault/openmediavault/pull/2095.

I can also confirm that the 8.0.6 update has fixed the issue for me.
