  • You will have to restore the last saved copy of config.xml.

    cp -f /etc/openmediavault/config.xml.0001 /etc/openmediavault/

Then check for funny characters in the pxe section and remove them.

    nano /etc/openmediavault/config.xml

ctrl-o to save, ctrl-x to exit

    monit restart omv-engined

  • The pxe plugin is fine. The UBCD image has been pulled. So, you shouldn't have this problem again.

  • I apologize for your problems, but to be honest I don't have the slightest idea how that massive binary code got into the config.txt for ubcd. I will fix that in the next minutes, besides the errors that Sky found.

Again, this raises the concern to still run tests on a VM first before you deploy to your production NAS system.

  • Ultimate Boot CD and the two debian images mentioned by Sky should be fixed now.
