  • Hello,

This post is not new but I think I solved the problem and I think it might help someone else:

The problem comes from logs that grow to saturation of the hard disk (CF).

    root@NAS:/# tail -f /var/log/syslog
Sep 3 22:45:38 NAS monit[2748]: 'rootfs' space usage 94.3% matches resource limit [space usage>80.0%]
Sep 3 22:46:08 NAS monit[2748]: 'rootfs' space usage 94.3% matches resource limit [space usage>80.0%]
Sep 3 22:46:38 NAS monit[2748]: 'rootfs' space usage 94.3% matches resource limit [space usage>80.0%]
Sep 3 22:47:08 NAS monit[2748]: 'rootfs' space usage 94.3% matches resource limit [space usage>80.0%]
Sep 3 22:47:39 NAS monit[2748]: 'rootfs' space usage 94.3% matches resource limit [space usage>80.0%]

In my case it happened when I enabled "email notifications". as soon as I stopped notifications and removed the following files I have not had a problem:

    rm /var/log/message
    rm /var/log/syslog
    rm /var/log/syslog.1
    rm /var/log/mail.log
    rm /var/log/mail.info

    Total logs> 2GB

For my 4GB CF is too much !!!
