Problem with timeshift

  • Hi guys,


    it seems that I have some problem to use "timeshift" plug-in correctly. Any advice how to solve the problem please? Thanks in advance.

    Timeshift doesn't know where you want to keep backups if you don't set the "Backup Device" field on the Timeshift -> Settings tab. You will see other configuration on that tab as well. They should match the fields in any Timeshift documentation.

  • I use the omv-firstaid and now I could log in. But when I want to use timeshift I got now this error message:

    uninstall the plugin and reinstall it. Somehow the database is messed up from the power loss.

  • I guess I have to reinstall omv from scratch. I tried to uninstall and reinstall the plugin several times, but I always get the error message.

    my system is working but it is being redirected to a different mirror. You could look up a different mirror to use but reinstalling won't help this problem.

  • I installed OMV from scratch now and the first thing I have installed is the writecache plug in but it seems that it doesn`t work. I have lokked to the log file...I use an USB stick for OS:
