Cloning a VM isn't transferring the Network portion...

  • .. and not sure if this is normal.

I will say, I have only tried with the virtio adapter... It is a debian install. using the bridge network that OMV core uses. In the VM all is up and running and can connect to the internet and is set for static. When I reboot it, all is fine. But when I boot/load the clone [and i delete the original] it boots with no network adapter programmed inside.

it boots with no network adapter programmed inside.

What does this mean? There is no network adapter in the XML or your VM isn't getting an address? When a VM is cloned, it gets a new mac address.

When I clone a VM, these are the only lines that are different in the xml

That is a likely a guest OS problem not a cloning problem.
