How do I upgrade from 6 to 8?

  • Hello friends,

    I have a question:

My NAS was set up by a friend a long time ago. Unfortunately, he is no longer available. I only ever access my NAS via my network. How can I now perform the update? I currently have version 6.

My NAS is on a shelf. I still have a monitor, keyboard and mouse here.

Will an update work if I put the new version on a USB stick and then boot from it?

My current version is: 6.9.16-1 (Shaitan)

Thank you in advance for your answers.

    Regards, Sven
