    What happening with the unverified signature... what is this pub key... Any idea ? ;(

    The old omv-extras signing key expired a couple of weeks ago. I released an updated omv-extras for omv7 and 8 back months ago. You must not have got it. Run the omv-extras install script again.

    sudo wget -O - https://github.com/OpenMediaVault-Plugin-Developers/packages/raw/master/install | sudo bash

    And update to omv 8 soon.

    omv 8.2.6-1 synchrony | 6.17 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 8.0.2 | kvm 8.2.4 | compose 8.1.12 | cterm 8.0 | borgbackup 8.1.9 | tempmon 8.0.3 | mergerfs 8.0.1 | scripts 8.0.3 | writecache 8.1.10

    Thank you so much.

    Concerning migration to omv 8, just need to run omv-release-upgrade?

  • regular backup are a good thing to have regardless of what you do or don't do.

    for example, I do my backups by powering off the machine, moving the OS disk to a SATA-USB adapter (my os is on a SATA SSD) to a laptop with a linux on it, and then using gparted or similar software, copy the OS root partition to another disk that has empty space (I usually keep 2 backups because my root partition is ~50 gb).

    if something goes wrong when doing major operations (for example os upgrade), I always have a backup to revert to.
