You can ignore that warning.

Sorry, stopped reading after the mdadm error.

mdadm: No devices listed in conf file werer found.
Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:
- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline)
- check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)
- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules; ls /dev)

Looks like your root filesystem with the UUID 0a0128dc-b97e-4aa5-8515-dc0f33dec587 is missing, so your system can not be booted. How does your system look like. Based on the fact that the systems boot until this points it looks to me your initfs is located on a different disk that the rootfs.
With the given information we can not help you, sorry.
OMV install on one disk, /dev/sda. I restored the OMV7 drive from a backup. It boots without errors.

I think the error is related to the new kernel. But I don't know where?
Hi all,
I have the same issue, no raid also.
I run OMV through Proxmox VM, and I regularly update it since Arrakis.
I also have the same issue after upgrading from 7 to 8.
Booting with an older Kernel works.
Looks exactly like this:
mdadm: No devices listed in conf file were found. - debianforum.de
Hi,
I'm not a computer scientist, just an enthusiast, but what information can I provide to help identify the problem?
I think the error is related to the new kernel. But I don't know where?
Did you manage to solve the problem?
I solved the problem.
At boot screen i choosed the kernel below the current one.
This was 5.10.0-12 and booting and startup of OMV worked.
Next i removed the "not-working" kernel by commandline like: apt remove linux-image-5-10.0-13-amd64
So booting next time will work.
Next i found in my file-systems a missing one.
This was the usb-backup-disk i use.
Now i had to mount it again. The backup-disk got a new mounting point, so i had to change the settings in usb-backup plugin.
The other missing disk with the wrong mount-point i removed.
Now, everything is working again.
