File system shown as referenced, but it is not

  • Hello,

Why is /dev/sda1 marked as "referenced"? :?:

The OMV 8.5.7-1 runs as a QEMU machine within Proxmox.

This is another OMV, running under a separate Proxmox server. The operating system disk is not listet.

    Thank you

    Andrea

because it is the OS disk.

This is another OMV, running under a separate Proxmox server. The operating system disk is not listet.

Then you don't have the openmediavault-sharerootfs plugin installed.

sharerootfs is not installed. On either of the two systems.

I don't know what to tell you then. Maybe it was installed at one time and failed to remove the os drive entry on uninstall. The OS drive is only supposed to show up when that plugin is installed and it is always marked as referenced. I fail to see the problem though. It's not like you could unmount the os drive anyway.

I'd prefer to see the shared file systems only in my dashboards.

In my opinion, the os filesystem should be on all systems. We have many, many more people have problems with a full os disk than a full data disk.

Where is the setting or what config file+entry controls that?

It is supposed to be the sharerootfs plugin.
