There is absolutely no reason to do this! 1.0 is the current stable version. Please do not install any older OMV version.
On E350M1 motherboard if i install OMV 1.0 directly it doesn't want to install.
It doesn't want to install debian OMV 1.0 version.
If i install OMV 0.5.48 before and then OMV 1.0 it's all OK

Can you provide more feedback about what happened when you tried to install OMV 1.0 directly? any particular error?

I tried a second attempt with OMV 0.5.60 first and then an upgrade via CLI directly and i went in goal.
I don't know why, i'd like to do a clean installation of OMV 1.0.20 but i don't know how can i do.

The install media source is CD
The memory module is ok, in fact when i install OMV 0.5.48 from CD is all OK.
i know that isn't ECC but i use ext 4 not zfs filesystem.
Then when i install OMV 1.0.20 on top ( after upgrade to 0.5.60 ) the system is ok and i don't know why.
Like i said yesterday if i make a clean installation in the end is:

Did you disconnect the data drives when you were installing?
just leave the os drive connected, and the cdrom of course
Yes i did it!
i only connect cd-rom with OMV 1.0.20 and the system drive, all others are disconnected........but i have the same error...... 
Now i'm trying to change some BIOS setting perhaps..........
If you have a USB flash pendrive around try an use that as install media. In the meantime I am trying to research about the error.
I have only found this, and is related to italian language selection, are you choosing different from english?, if so try to select english first. Then once installed change to other language
