Is there any image of OMV for cubox-I? Have seen news about OMV being compatible, just can't find an image or instruction on how to install.

Install minimal Debian Wheezy from here. Then do the following:
Codeecho "deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public kralizec main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list apt-get update apt-get install openmediavault-keyring postfix apt-get update apt-get install openmediavault omv-initsystem
If you can't get it working, I probably can make an image.

Thank you. Will wait till my enclosure arrives to get more disk space. I'll keep in touch if something doesn't work out. Thank you in advance!!

I got it working. For some reason the LAN-port does not work with the minimal debian Wheezy you linked. I installed this one though: http://www.igorpecovnik.com/20…ingboard-debian-sd-image/ which works like a charm!! Rest was all really easy by following the steps you provided!! Thank you so much!!

The lan port does work with that image but doesn't have it configured. Glad you got it working

I tried to upgrade and failed miserably. Now whatever I try results in
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
openmediavault : Depends: php5-pam but it is not going to be installed
Depends: proftpd-mod-vroot but it is not going to be installed
Depends: php5-proctitle but it is not going to be installedAny way to solve this or maybe anyone willing to make an image, preferably the OMV version 2? Thanks in advance.

Updating my image and will upload it to sourceforge.

Looking forward to see a sourceforge-link appear when I get home tonight.

I also have a cubox i4 pro. Can someone explain how you plan to connect a number of disks to the cubox? Is it via the e-sata port? How would you connect multiple disks to get a RAID going?
-
I forgot to check the kernel. It does not have mdadm or port multiplier enabled. I will look for another kernel or make a new one. Until then, you could use multiple usb hard drives or a usb external enclosure that supports multiple drives.
-
Better image coming using much newer kernel with port multiplier and mdadm raid support.
-
-
New image is on sourceforge. Raid and port multiplier working nicely.

-
I use a 4 bay enclosure via Sata.
http://www.amazon.de/FANTEC-QB…61&sr=8-1&keywords=fantecWorks quite well
Thanks also for the image, trying now

Having 2 more questions:
1. Where can I find Sickbeard, Couchpotato and NZBget, can't seem to find them.
2. Is there a way to backup a system so I don't have to go through all the settings again? -
1. Forgot to put them in the stoneburner repos. Should be there now.
2. Once your system is setup, put the sd card in the computer you wrote it with. If you are using Windows, use win32diskimager but select the read option. If you are using linux, use dd (same command as writing but reverse it and give a different file name).

Thank you so much for all the help, really appreciated!!!

Been having some troubles. I try to expand the partition from 2 GB to about 50 GB but it's not working out well. Tried several proggies, including Gparted but it won't allow me to expand the Cubox-i partition while I have over 57 GB free space on the card. Any idea how to expand ext4 partitions in windows? Running VM ubuntu via Hyper-V but that won't let me mount usb sticks nor cards...
-
You shouldn't be expand any partition on the cubox-i image because you can't use the space anyway. Just create another partition in the free space and format it ext4. Then you can mount that partition in the web interface and use it for shared folders.
