OMV 1.x Caibre Ebook Conversion

Hi ladies & gentle boys,

First off, apologies for the n00b question (and if the thread is in the wrong section), but I seem to either be missing something or just being a knob.
Can the Calibre plugin convert ebooks? Like you would with the actual GUI? Or is it only via command line? Or not at all?
My GF n kindle demon, so the sooner I can get her reading, the more time I can spend on OMV
