thanks in advance, this started happening after upgrading to 1.19 from 1.18. i've tried some of the suggestions but all those files suggested are not in my system.

  • Well it seems I got a similar kind of problem here on my BananaPi that @chuxter has...

After updating from 1.7 to 1.9 and enabling the Flash Memory Plugin I get this message when hitting the "Check" button for updates:

    A grep -r wheezy /etc/apt/* results in:

    Code
    /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org-custom.list:deb http://apt.tvheadend.org/stable wheezy main
    /etc/apt/sources.list.d/omv-extras-org-kralizec.list:deb http://www.greyhole.net/releases/deb stable main

Should the second line end in wheezy main as well?

Trying a mv /etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99openmediavault-release /root/ gets me this:

    Code
mv: cannot stat `/etc/apt/apt.conf.d/99openmediavault-release': No such file or directory

So I think this is not the option to go here...

@chuxter: Did @Mr.Presidents workaround do the trick for you? Or is there anything else that might be of help here?

    Best regards.

  • You should read the error. ;) Disable the btsync repo until @ryecoaaron and I figure out which architectures are supported by the syncthing repo.

    fix:

  • Hi at all,
I tried all you suggest but I continue to have problems to update my system. At the beginning, I had the same error that give the name at the thread. Removing the file /etc/apt/apt.conf I'm able to upgrade the system from the version 1.18 to 1.19. After this, I tried to update the system at the 2.X version without result. I also execute the command omv-mkconf omvextrasorg aptclean, apt-get clean, update, upgrade and dist-upgrade but always with negative result, the system tells me I haven't nothing to update. Any idea?
    Thanks in advanced.

  • None of those commands will update to 2.x. You should wait until it is ready too. So, you probably have a fully up to date system.

Please don't PM for support... Too many PMs!

  • My souces.list is absolutely perfect. However, inside the gui I´m not able to update the Update Manager and the plugins.
    Should that be correct??
The debian sources list generator might be a nice hint, but after that, sources.list MUST be modified to receive updates.

davidh2k: where can i find this "Disable the btsync repo".

Even I´m not sure if I should update anyway. After the last updates omv has been crashed and I was really scared about that (grub has crashed, raid5 was lost and so on....).

  • btsync repo can be found in omv-extrasorg plugin section.

  • Did not found it, can I install it from the bash and do I need that urgendly?
However, even the section "plugins" does not update himself....
